The Kennel Name "Springfield's" has been established in 2005 as a certified breeder of the Jagdspaniel-Klub e.V. in Germany.

The Kennel name "Springfields Gundogs" was registered in 2022 within the F.C.I. - JSpk Kennelnumber 6576, F.C.I 1181/2022. 

The International Breeding Regulations of the Fédération Cynologique Internationale (F.C.I.) and the guidelines of the German Kennel Club (VDH) are binding to us.

After a break, we are planning a litter in the coming years.


Our dogs basically have a task and a wonderful life with exercise several times a day in the most beautiful nature. That's why they often smile:-)

They stay with us throughout their lives, follow us everywhere, and spend their holidays in France.  

Our puppies are born and raised up in the house with lots of joy and enthusiasm. From six weeks on, having their first vaccination,  they play and discover the world, our garden and forests with their mum.

Basically I love dogs, and I am not a breed fanatic and have admired the French pointing breeds for a long time.

That is why the half-sisters Émy Elisa and Felicia Fleur have been enriching our lives since March 2021/April 2022.  I have recorded the experience with the two puppies in some short videos on YouTube:-)

Calvin

Even though I have dealt with the breeding and the breed of the English Springer Spaniel in detail,I really like all dogs and dog sport activities. Among other activities, I was actively involved in dog

sports as agility and heelwork, gundog training and tests, training of puppies and attended VDH seminars and dog training seminars,

passed certificates of expertise and did voluntary work.


With our tiny Springfield's Kennel, we were represented at hunting tests and dog sport trials and international dog shows.

Three of my own "home bred" Springer Spaniels Springfield's Britt, Byron and Crissy were able to achieve VDH Champion titles Klub & VDH, Youth Champion titles Klub & VDH, Bundesjugendsieger VDH, CAC, CACIB aso. Our small Kennel has also produced several studdogs and bitches that fulfilled all requirements of the breeding

associations, as well as some VDH "Full Champions"

with FCI working dog certificates and the corresponding hunting tests.

In summary one can say that we have been very lucky with our Springer Spaniels. Unfortunately, some of our Springer Spaniels are no longer with us because of their age, but they still live on in their grandchildren and our hearts. With Émy and Felicia moving in, it's time for a new chapter..
